Mount Rainier National Park Fee Increase Proposed
Mount Rainier
A major park fee increase proposal is just opening up for comment. It would increase Mt Rainier entrance fee to $70/car for the five-month peak period, and also make $75 annual Mt Rainier passes available, along with the standard $80 annual federal lands passes. It sounds like the formula for the percentage of fees that stay in the parks where they are generated won’t change, so it would mean an increase in funding for Rainier.
